PGL Senior Cup Final

Ballymena won the PGL Senior Cup Final at Larne last night, spoiling Belmont's bid for a fourth straight success in that competition. Jim Baker's rink did the damage with a 14 shot win against Roy Battersby. Stephen Coleman's four finished six up against Stuart Bennett winning their 20th end to seal the game overall. Robin Horner beat Nigel Robinson by 3, and Terry Crawford won by 9 against Andy Duncan but Ballymena overcame an early 15 shot deficit to control the final quarter of the game and lift the cup.
