Not long now folks and I am feeling the excitement starting to build.
Think we open in Larne on Easter Saturday (4/4) but not 100%, my first season back since 2011 due to living abroad so keen as mustard just hoping the weather picks up a little lol
Just a quick question but I have read the notice on here that there will be a new PGL website, is it also likely to have a forum?

The new site should be up and running before the season starts. It is being worked on currently and once it is ready to go live there will be a post on this forum.
This forum should remain unaffected and a link to this forum will be on the new website.
Hope that answers your question.

Is anyone able to confirm any of the rumoured big / small money transfers for the new season?
Can anyone beat Billy Ross + 1000 paracetamol from Mossley to Whitehead in exchange for a promise not to send him back???

Is there any truth in a rumour that Paul McVeigh is joining Willowfield?

With the new season only a couple of weeks away who do you think will win division 1 and division 2 .
Division1 . larne Division2.which is probably the most interesting , I think will be between Forth river and Cliftonville.

Big prediction that doc. Im sure all at Larne would hope that your prediction comes true. Realistically though bettering last years league placing would be a start considering the quality of last year's top 4
Whilst Larne have recalled a couple of loanees that they sent out a number of years ago to gain experience (Kyle and Kerr) along with the returning invermilarne from Germany it all comes down to picking the right team and that could be a big call for our selectors. There is now a good panel to choose from so all need to be on top of their game.
For me a top four position and a run in the cup would be a good stepping stone for a relatively young team
Dunbarton for me and as for second division it could be anyones

Outside of the top two divisions league 3 will be interesting With Shaftsbury, shorts, psni and cavehill all in the mix for top two promotion spots. Relegation offers something new with knock, saintfield, gallagher, ballymena all looking for good starts to the season to stay out of the drop spots!
Be interesting to watch the race for promotion in Div 4 & 5 As well. Pickie, Dumbarton or ballymena division 3 bound
Dunbarton may be pipped this year by Belmont in Div 1 And Ballywater for Div 2.

Great to get out and get a game, shoulder remains in tact the Whitehead green was running at a decent pace for this early in the season. Good as always to catch up with some old friends down at Whitehead as well.
