It is with great sadness that we announce the passing or our friend, our fellow bowler and Public Relations Officer Bryan Magrath. We have all been aware of Byran's courageous battle over the past five years and unfortunately that battle ended the afternoon. On behalf of the President and entire Private Greens family our heartfelt sypathies go out to the whole family circle at this sad time.

Very sad news. Bryan will be sorely missed by all bowlers in the PGL. On the green he was a real battler Heart on sleeve and always up for the challenge. His enthusiasm and passion for the game was second to none and the work he carried out through this webaite over many years is testament to the man.
On behalf of all his bowling friends at Larne can I offer deepest sympathies to the family circle.
Rest in peace Bryan

RIP Bryan!! This guy deserves so much respect for how he fought the f#####g disease whilst playing bowls to the level he did not to mention giving his time to all of us through his website. I remember his last Facebook post which brought tears to my eye. My thoughts are with his family and friends at Old Bleach. Just sooo sad!
