Hopefuly the new League restructure for next year will help a bit.... Divisions 1 and 2 will def be down to 10 games... the others will be 10 or 11 depending on how many teams enter. If you had another division we are doen to 12 or 14 games in a season which has been widely regarded as too FEW! It's hard to get that right balance. I DO think if the PGL competitions are restructured next year by a competitions committee it would make life A LOT easier!

Bryan - with the average club membership being between £80-£120 pound per year if players are only going to get 10 games I can see a lot of players packing the game in. The rules regarding being able to postpone fixtures because a player is on representative duty really should be changed to a minimum of 3 as most teams have someone missing every game for one reason or another. Why has no -one suggested a top tier league as these really are the clubs who will be fighting for silverware and therefore suffering the Tues night games as cup runs continue.

Hi I don't recall reading anything about reduction in the number of games played in a season as part of the restructure! Disappointing if this is the case especially with regard to home and away matches (which is a massive part of the game for money) Agree with gazduke about people leaving clubs for others or dropping out of the game! Another issue maybe clubs dropping out of the Pgl altogether
Bit of clarification required please

I think someone has missed the point here. The new leagues from the 2015 season with 10/11 teams in each, play home AND away.

Guys..I think this is just a little Faux Pas..I think Bryan meant 10 Teams, which would equate to 18 games. But I might be wrong...I was 1 time back in 1973 ???I think....lol

Sorry - yes I meant TEN TEAMS - 18 games - never seriously thought anyone would have thought that there were only 10 games in a season! Sorry! AGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I did say further in the post that 12 or 14 ames was TOO FEW.... gime me a break here lads!! I replied to the post on my phone which had rubbish connectivity and with a lot of other things that are going on at the moment I forgot to edit it when home on the computer. Hence the rubbish spelling also! OK - no more messages from my phone obviously!!!! Sorry!
Thanks Derek and Boydie for being able to correctly decipher!!!!!!
