Lot of Aero's being used there. Have a better idea when we're up next week.
Our lads have made their quarters with Catherine having a great win this morning over England to make her Q/F.

Watched a few ends of the triples earlier and was evident that the South Africans bowls just went up the middle in comparison to PD's and Hulks. Greens also looked a tad tricky as heads were not the best.

Boys had a good win in the triples 19-12 against Scotland and play Wales in the morning for a spot in the final. Catherine won so through to semi but unfortunately Marty and Ian were beat by a shot in the quarters.

I played against someone using "Aero's" today, first time i have seen them, think the makers forgot to drill 3 holes in them and promoted them to the wrong game of bowls. |

According to Mr Corkill, its the players who ask for weaker biased bowls so manufacturers make them.
Seem to b selling well enough or maybe players being sponsored to use them!!!!

Agreed SammyA Yes it maybe players in the Southern Hem or indoor asking for them but outdoor (on 99.9%) of our greens they don't move. It can be ridiculous playing against someone using them. It removes the skill out of the game and is a distinct advantage on a lot
of occasions.

Colourful bowls as well. Maybe attractive to younger generation!!!! Probably alright if ur leading but not that hot 4 back end if they don't draw......
