Thought there might be a bit of comment on a thread like this (more comments on an Irish League football forum). The lack of engagement is depressing tbh any wonder leagues continue to shrink.
By comments I am not looking anything personal or overtly negative.
Bryan you certainly have an uphill battle in promoting the game beer.

Have to agree with you invermilarne the noise is deafening. I for one am watching as much of the bowls as possible on line. As yet I haven't seen any of our lads on and really enjoying it.

INVER... I have tried to stir up CONSTRUCTIVE debate - but even little or no response to some of the ideas I have had in POV's - players tell me on the green they agree with so many idea and suggestions but don't want to be seen to have their faces not following the established line on here!
Hey.... so many big topics to discuss but much better for people to bury their faces in the sand and not comment. Next year they may not have the opportunity!! Someone else will almost certainly be doing my job - I just can't see my health allowing me to perhaps even bowl next year- if I can even manage to beat the doctor's timelines!! ! It's only a game of bowls - maybe its ME takes it too seriously!!!
Good luck to all the Commonwealth competitors from NI. Hope it's still not too late to turn the Pairs around - certainly a disappointing start!

Bryan I have to say that I've been really annoyed by the way things have been allowed to drift over the last couple of months concerning our poor showing in the Inter associations series and the British isles championships tournament. The fact that nothing seems to be changing is quite unbelievable, many of our PGL members don't seem to care or even worse are not bothered the way things have gone, if this is true then our own PGL members are as bad as those who make decisions on our behalf. I am still waiting for answers to the questions I raised from my posts on this sight, many of which are similar to your own. Why hasn't someone from the PGL come forward and give us all an explanation of those points raised. Bryan I for one know that you are passionate about our game and like myself have no malice or axe to grind against anyone you just want the best. Lastly and more importantly you have got to make yourself the number 1 priority at this present time .

Bryan - I sincerely hope you put yourself first for once. Your dedication to this site over the last number of years should be recognised at the highest level. I do want want to sound patronising but without your efforts we the minions would not even know where we stood in the league. Yes there are problems with the representative teams but most of us will never aspire to those heights and many honestly couldn't care less how they do. 99% of bowlers just want to play for their club sides and enjoy the craic. The PGL selectors and bigwigs can't be bothered to grace the lower clubs with their presence (apart from maybe a visit from the President) so why should the clubs show concern. Don't take the game too seriously Bryan as it doesn't pay the bills and your health is paramount.

Bryan, can I take this opportunity, to thankyou, for all your hard work, on the running of this bowls website. Without your organisation and help, the Whole PGL ASSOCIATION, would be struggling. Your health bryan, is the most important thing, take care, and all the the very best to N.IRELAND TEAM AT THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES.
