And therein lies the problem Teatime as I pointed out in my post on the IBAs possible AGM motion there is too much emphasis on the Division 1 top end of bowling. There are 4 other divisions in the PGL and BLI, 5 in the NIBA and 2 in NIPBA that make up the bowling fraternity. Having looked again we will actually have not played League Matches on 6 Saturdays this year

SWAMPIES don't seem to have these problems and they play the same number of games in Div 1. :-)

If I've read some of the above posts correctly people are complaining about Internationals and Inter-Association weekends cancelling matches, yet almost in the same breath say there is no consideration for below division 1. Only division 1 matches are affected by Internationals and Senior Inter-Association matches assuming one of the clubs involved has 2 players unavailable (slightly different for Junior Inter Association as Mossley could postpone in division 2). The rest of the league program is unaffected and we played on both those Saturdays.
The Championships only affect 1 Saturday and that is in the PG rules and has been for a long time. If someone wants to change that, draft a Notice and send it to AGM.
The only other reason is IBA cups. Now this depends on your club. We entered the cup, played on the Saturday and got knocked out and since then our opponents have all been out of the cup so we have played on Saturdays a usual. I appreciate that is not the case for all other clubs. Scheduling wise that is an IBA matter and for sheer practicality there is no way that will move.
Then there is the 1 week July break that I believe the NIBA and NIPBA also observe and plenty of players use it as an opportunity to take a holiday while some clubs run tournaments.
So based on all of the above what do you want changed, because to be honest it just looks like moaning for the sake of it.
This forum is here to provide information for bowlers and allow discussions on topics but seems to be increasingly used as a place to bitch and moan, If it continues I will start deleting threads that serve no useful purpose.

Bri In the spirit of your last post then please would you reply to my post of 31 May and the last one on the New PG Website thread. I'm so glad I only asked a question and didn't comment on its user unfriendliness when compared with its predecessor.
