Castleton withdraw from PG League with immediate effect

It is with great regret that the PG confirm that Castleton have withdrawn from the PG League with immediate effect and will not play any more matches this season.

As a result the league tables will be revised as if Castleton were not part of the Divisions 2 and Midweek 2 as per rule 12 of the Rules Governing the League Championships.

The promotion and relegation from the various divisions will be:

Division 1
No change
Two teams relegated from Division 1 and two promoted from Division 2
10 teams in 2016

Division 2
Two teams relegated from Division 1 and two teams promoted to Division 1.
One team relegated to Division 3 and two teams promoted from Division 3
10 teams in 2016

Division 3
One team relegated from Division 2 and 2 teams promoted to Division 2.
One team relegated to Division 4 and two promoted from Division 4
10 teams in 2016

Division 4
One team relegated from Division 3 and 2 teams promoted to Division 3.
Two teams relegated to Division 5. Two teams promoted from Division 5
10 teams in 2016

Division 5
Two teams relegated from Division 4. Two teams promoted to Division 4.
12 teams in 2016

Midweek promotion and relegation will remain two teams relegated from Midweek 1 and two teams promoted from Midweek 2

All of the above assumes no other team withdraws from the League
