I think it is very unfair of the Irish Bowling Association to hold the semi-final between Bangor and Dumbarton at Pickie Bowling Club. This seems nearly like a home tie for Bangor. Surely a more neutral venue could have been found to accommodate both teams. Somewhere like Shaftesbury Bowling which has one of the best greens in Ireland or Balmoral. Very bad decision by the Irish Bowling Association

You ever tried to arrange a cup semi final??? Easy to be critical of venue. DUNBARTON would have played on it a lot more than Bangor!!!!

In a cup semi final playing on a green 3 months ago will be no advantage, both teams are good enough to adapt to any green, but location should have played a part one team travels 5 minutes while another has to travel over an hour!

Chris Just answering Johnny about venue suiting Bangor!!! Agree about travelling but then DUNBARTON must be well used to travelling due to their home location.....:-) No PG greens convenient to them.
