Of course you are right Simon, but things don't automatically work out like that.as for the relegation issue, if results on Saturday don't work out for teams then ,without a shadow of doubt,Ards will know exactly what they may need in their game the following week.thats the difference . Anyway , best of luck to all the teams in their last fixture, the league had been so tight this year at both ends its been both frustrating and brilliant at the same time.

Just toss this in the mix. What time is sunset next Tuesday?? Weather forecast good?? Is minimum game length 18 ends?

Ballymena v Dunbarton will be floodlit so no problems there. Not certain about lighting situation at Ards but IF played on Tuesday without lights then a full game and two trials will be impossible. Not sure of the amount of ends required to be played to fulfil the fixture. 15?
Just checked. Rules state in special circumstances and if agreed by two teams then 15 ends is allowed. Option of no trials, one trial or two trials. One shot first two ends not allowed, games to be completed by third Saturday in September.

I wonder what the world would be like if everything was only run my way . Well done to those who run and oversee the PGL. Keep up the good and thankless work and the rest of us should just sit back and enjoy the exciting finish to our league .

Katinde, you seemed to have wanted the midweek week section run your way with your comment on that topic. Can't have it both ways.

Agree. Very easy to come on this forum under an alias, make comments that they cannot substantiate and then clam up when questioned!!!!!

I agree wholeheartedly , but the debate on the forum concerning midweek was thrown open to encourage feedback for perhaps possible ideas to help teams to stay active in that league . I just threw some possible ideas . That's all . I'm just glad I don't have the responsibility of running the pgl. It would be total chaos if I had any part to play .

Very easy to come on this forum under an alias, Santa2012 is your real name? :-P It's a forum people use an alias like they do on every other forum, no big issue.
