It is not very often that we are able to officially congratulate a member of the Northern Ireland Private Greens Bowling League General Purposes Committee.
However, on this occasion, I am delighted to report that our Honorary Assistant Secretary, Mr George Walsh has been awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Years Honours List for services to the Community in Belfast.
